Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy works with a variety of speech, voice, articulation, and language disorders with people unable to make speech sounds or cannot make them clearly. Our Speech Therapist at Totaly Sense-Sational will use different treatment techniques in conjunction with a Sensory approach to facilitate increased language and communication.
Susan P. Paul, MA, CCC/SLP of Communication Imaging is Totaly Sense-Sational’s Speech-Language Therapy provider.
Communication imaging utilizes the most recent research to provide optimal solutions for children with speech, auditory processing, language, academic, behavioral and social-emotional difficulties. Programs include: social skills groups, ABA, Greenspan’s DIR model, SCERTS model, literacy programs, Bully Busters, and much more.
Susan P. Paul, owner of Communication Imaging, is a speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with both adults and children. She is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and received her teaching certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Maryland and Temple University and received her BA (1983) and MA (1985) from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Susan gained clinical expertise by working in a variety of settings including early intervention programs, school programs, clinics, as well as in acute care, subacute and rehabilitation hospital settings. Susan has devoted herself to meeting the communication needs of children, their families and caregivers by offering a wide range of therapy and consultation services in naturalistic settings. Mrs. Paul has presented workshops to both professionals and laypeople on the topic of autism and early language, learning, and literacy development. Friendly Neighbors, a cable television program produced by LaSalle University, featured Susan in her capacity as an expert in the field of autism. Susan Paul prides herself in fostering effective communication techniques by utilizing a team approach while drawing upon individuals’ strengths.
